VERONA -- Students from high schools in Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County put on their legislative hats this week for the annual Linkous/Bosserman Model General Assembly.
For two days at the Augusta County Government Center, the students introduce legislation, shepherd it through committees and floor votes, and wait for the governor's signature. What's missing? The one obvious answer is the presence of the omnipresent lobbyists who frequent the Virginia General Assembly.
