Signs of Political Campaigns Crop Up Along The Road

These signs are not the normal roadside attraction.

A simple drive down U.S. 250 between Waynesboro and Staunton this time of year reveals clusters ofpolitical signs advertising candidates for the local and General Assembly elections.

Smaller signs advertise local elections, while House 20 Del. Dickie Bell forked over the cash for several 4-foot-by-8-foot behemoths advertising his re-election bid.

The Bell signs jump out at a motorist.
