STAUNTON, VA – Del. Richard P. “Dickie” Bell (R-Staunton) announced today Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli has endorsed
his re-election campaign.
"It gives me great pleasure to endorse Delegate Dickie Bell for re-election to the Virginia House of Delegates. “ said Cuccinelli. “Dickie
has worked side-by-side with our administration over the last 2 years on key conservative issues. He has fought for education reform, against tax increases, and has supported and co-patroned legislation that is designed to establish incentives for job creation. He is a true public servant, and has shown dedication to the principles and ideals that this nation and this commonwealth were founded on. At a time when these values are being threatened by our federal government, his re-election could not be more important. I strongly support Dickie’s re-election, and encourage all 20th District residents, regardless of Party or political persuasion, who support smaller government and constitutional principles to rally behind him.”
“I am honored to receive Attorney General Cuccinelli’s endorsement.” said Delegate Bell. “Ken is a champion for conservative principles in the Commonwealth, and I look forward to continuing my service with him.”
Elected to the House of Delegates in 2009, Delegate Bell represents the 20th District, which currently includes Highland County, portions of Augusta and Rockingham Counties, and the City of Staunton. The newly drawn 20th District will also include parts of Nelson County and the City of Waynesboro.
