STAUNTON, VA – Del. Richard P. “Dickie” Bell (R-Staunton) announced today that Delegates Ben Cline (R-Rockbridge), Steve Landes (R-Weyers Cave), and Tony Wilt (R-Broadway) have endorsed his re-election campaign.
“I am pleased to endorse Dickie for re-election to the House of Delegates. “said Delegate Cline. “He has worked hard for his district and is truly in touch with the people he represents. He is a legislator that the 20th District can be proud of, and I strongly support his re-election.”
“Dickie has been a great asset to the Virginia House of Delegates.” said Delegate Landes. “During his two years, he has shown great leadership on the House Education Committee and has been an advocate for the 20th district. I fully support him in his re-election efforts to the House of Delegates because I believe that he will bring the experience and wisdom that our state needs to get our economy moving again.”
“Dickie Bell is one of my most trusted colleagues in the House of Delegates.” added Delegate Wilt. “I know he works hard to represent the constituents of the 20th District in Richmond and listens to their concerns year round. He is a proven leader in education, mental health, and disability issues. I am pleased to endorse Dickie in his campaign for re-election.”
“I am honored to have received the support from the Valley Delegation to the House of Delegates.” said Delegate Bell. “Each one of them does a fantastic job representing the residents of the 24th, 25th, and 26th Districts. I am grateful for their support, and look forward to working with them in the future.”
Elected to the House of Delegates in 2009, Delegate Bell represents the 20th District, which currently includes Highland County, portions of Augusta and Rockingham Counties, and the City of Staunton. The newly drawn 20th District will also include parts of Nelson County and the City of Waynesboro.
